Microscope 356 is a handheld stereo microscope, with an electric illuminator, labelled on the handle with “UKO, B & L, MADE IN ENGLAND” and the serial number 2326. The function of this microscope is unknown, although it may be some type of surface inspection microscope. No information was found about UKO microscopes, and it is unclear if the label “B & L” corresponds to the well-known company Bausch & Lomb. The instrument should be dated to the mid-20th century.
